Our Corporate Commercial Practice Group encompasses several multi-faceted speciality practices and, combined with our in depth expertise and experience, we are all singularly focused on supporting our clients’ general business needs.

The Corporate Commercial practice comprises a variety of specialist teams, each led by senior corporate partners of our firm. Each dedicated team has a broad depth of experience and expertise in its own specialty areas. Our clients include prominent local and international individuals and businesses, multi-national corporations and government-linked bodies spanning across a wide range of industries.

More specifically, our Corporate Commercial Practice has assisted multi-national corporations in establishing and structuring new investments and business ventures in different sectors. We have also handled a broad variety of joint ventures and foreign investments for both domestic and international clients, including structuring investments, incorporations of all key corporate forms, advising on inter-shareholder rights, carrying out due diligence, advising on transfer of assets, drafting and negotiating joint venture documents, and advising on compliance with regulatory requirements. We are also proficient in advising clients in every aspect of employment and private client concerns.

Apart from giving strategic advice, we have also been involved in applications to regulatory and governmental authorities to obtain and amend licenses and advising on regulatory and compliance issues.

Commercial Agreements/Joint Ventures/ Foreign Direct Investments

We advise on a wide range of commercial agreements that form the basic building blocks of our clients’ business. Immigration and Relocation

We have expertise in advising foreign individuals and families in applying for Vietnamese citizenship or temporary or permanent residency status under various schemes available in Vietnam.

We also advise on work permit and work permit exemption issues for individuals looking to migrate to Vietnam, including assistance in obtaining visas for family members and staff.

Charities, Philanthropy and Non-Profit

We have experience on work relating to charities, philanthropy and non-profit organisations, with clients ranging from international charitable networks to local community groups. We specialise in advising on the structuring of charitable organisations, attending to their specific operational needs, and advising on general compliance issues.
